The popularity of listing popular women on the internet started with the publication “The 50 Most Popular Women on the Web” by COED magazine. This list was compiled using the most popular celebrity searches on the internet. The title of “Queen of the Internet” was hotly debated on social media platforms, with many people pleased with the results while others disagreeing with the celebrity rankings.
In addition, the inclusion of Justin Bieber on the list of women sparked debate. Most websites ranked Justin as the seventh most popular girl in the world, which sparked controversy. Although he is the most popular of the tween girls, the ‘Believers’ did not take him well to rank him among the women.
Despite this, the internet and social media platforms have grown in popularity over the last decade. So we decided to list the 50 most popular women on the internet over the entire decade, following this trend. Kylie Jenner may have a large fan base, but on the internet, she is still not the most popular woman.
