1. How to Check Airtel Number With USSD Code (*282#)
This is the best way to know your telephone phone.
Insert your SIM on your mobile phone. Make sure that you have activated your Airtel SIM card.
Open the phone dialer app and dial ussd codes to check: dial *282# and press the call button.
On your mobile phone screen, you can see a flash message containing your airtel number that says, “Hi, your mobile number is: xxxxxxxxxxxx” Don’t forget to remember your mobile number.
2. How to Check Airtel Number Using USSD Code (*121#)
This approach is the same as the one described above. However, you’re going to do the process with another code. To search the number on your Airtel SIM card, simply dial *121# from your mobile phone, you can see some on-screen choices.
Choose Manage My Account by pressing 2
You’re going to be led to the next screen,
- My data balance
- My Balance
- My Data Plan
- My Number
- My tariff Plan
- KYC status
- My Serial Number
- MY PUK
Choose My Number by pressing 4 to show your phone number.
3. Contact Your Friend or Relatives to Get Your Number
There are other ways to know your Airtel number, to recharge your SIM with an N100 or so. Dial your friend or family phone, and you’re the caller. All you need to do is call a friend’s phone nearby and tell him or her to tell you or email your number via SMS.
4. Contact Airtel Customer Service to get a number
Alternatively, through contacting Airtel Customer Service, you can get to know your Airtel number by calling the airtel customer care number or Whatsapp.
- Using your Airtel line to dial 111 or 121.
- Click the “Speak to a Customer Care Representative” option
- When the call connects, notify the Customer Service Agent about the sim number check.
Be sure you get a pad and a sheet of paper to write down your phone number while the customer service agent calls it out.
You may also recommend that the Customer Service Agent send your number in the form of an SMS. You will get a message containing your 11-digit Airtel phone number as soon as you drop the call.
5. Send Call Me SMS to Easily Check Your Number
You should only use this approach if you have someone near you who uses Airtel as well.
The usual method would have been to dial the person’s phone and see the number on the screen. But suppose you don’t have airtime on your SIM, so this is the only choice you’ve got.
- Dial *140*The number of your mate.
- Check the phone number of your buddy and see the message he/she gets.
Your phone number will be seen along with the “Please call me back” message that your friend gets. Often, this approach is totally free of charge.
