HOW TO ENABLE YOUTUBE PARENTAL CONTROLS

YouTube is home to tons and tons of videos, and many of them are ideal for kids to watch. It has everything from cartoons to TV episodes to science videos to early learning programs. Children can easily watch videos of their favorite characters. If this is a great way to keep the kids on a long car trip or restaurant when the video ends and they start looking for other things to watch on their own? Instead of giving your child your smartphone to watch Youtube videos, you’ll feel more comfortable using the iPad or iPad mini. At least with this tool, they may not accidentally call a friend or colleague. Here’s how to enable Safety Mode on YouTube and set parental controls when using the mobile browser window to watch videos.

1. Run Safari browser and type www.youtube.com in the address bar.

Whether you’re using an Android smartphone or an Android tablet, the steps to activate parental controls on YouTube are the same for every device. However, Safety Mode is only available in the browser for YouTube parental controls. Android devices come with pre-installed YouTube apps on the phone. Like the iOS YouTube app, you can only turn on SafeSearch in the Android YouTube app, which is not as powerful as Safety Mode when hiding inappropriate content.

How to Setup Parental Controls in the YouTube Mobile Application on Android:

1. Launch the Android YouTube app, tap the YouTube icon in the upper left corner of the screen and sign in. Then prompt to enter your YouTube account information.

How To Control Safe Mode In Android Using Broker

When using a browser on Android, many models offer the option to open YouTube in “Desktop View”. This is similar to watching YouTube in a browser window on your computer. If you’re watching a YouTube video on your phone, you need to sign in to your YouTube account, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Security at the bottom of the page to turn it on. The default is usually to launch a mobile YouTube site. When you watch YouTube in a mobile web browser, you turn on Safety Mode on Android smartphones and tablets.
